Bored Apes Redefine Franchise Licensing With ‘Made By Apes’

Apes keep winning. Big news for Bored Ape and Mutant Ape owners - you can now get an official license for any products or businesses you create with your NFTs!

'Made by Apes' is a platform that lets holders register for a unique license number to use their apes commercially. This makes it easier for holders to build with their Apes, network, collaborate, and quickly legitimize their businesses!

There are two options - a main license for your ape, and product licenses for specific stuff you make. What’s more is that holders can get as many licenses as they want!

Even better, holder creations will feature in Yuga Labs' online shop ‘The Bodega’ when it opens this summer. This is huge for builders in the ape community.

Since BAYC dropped in 2021, brands like Ape Water and Bored Sauce popped up. There are also BAYC-themed restaurants like Bored & Hungry innovating in the space. BAYC is responsible for some of the most “entertaining, delicious, bizarre, and imaginative projects and products out there”.

These brands are a direct IP offshoot of the BAYC/MAYC lineup and have garnered immense attention globally. Now BAYC/MAYC holders can make it official with a license. This is a significant milestone and yet another use-case for the future of NFT IP!

CyberKongz Jump Chains, Announce New Anime Collection!

Big moves by CyberKongz as they hop from Polygon to the Ronin blockchain. The leading NFT franchise is shifting its Play-and-Kollect game to Ronin, created by Sky Mavis of Axie Infinity fame.

And they're launching an anime-inspired collection called Genkai to celebrate.

This week Genkai drops on both Ronin and Ethereum, with 16,000 on Ethereum and 4,000 on Ronin. Holders can move their Genkai from Ethereum to Ronin later too.

Plus, the Kongz have some dope rewards for current holders too - Mystic Axies get a free Genkai, and once sold out, CyberKongz holders get an airdrop after 180 days.

With over $210 million in trading volume across their collections, CyberKongz is a big-time player in the industry.

And just like their Ethereum Ape counterparts, they continue to innovate and elevate their community and the web3 ecosystem.
