Centre Pompidou NFT Exhibition Spotlights CryptoPunks and Autoglyphs!

NFTs are getting the star treatment: The Centre Pompidou, Europe's largest modern art museum, is set to exhibit NFTs and explore the relationship between art and the blockchain. The upcoming exhibition will feature 16 digital artists from around the world, including a CryptoPunk and an Autoglyph. Jonas Lund, Rafael Rozendaal, and Jill Magid are also part of the NFT exhibition.

This marks a significant milestone for the Web3 industry as the museum has never accepted NFTs in its collection before. The museum is famous for showcasing works of legendary artists such as Frida Kahlo, Vassily Kandinsky, and Henri Matisse.

Yuga Labs, which owns CryptoPunks, donated CryptoPunk #110, while Larva Labs, the creators of Autoglyphs, donated Autoglyph #25 to the museum.

Speaking on the new acquisition, Centre Pompidou said:
“With this new acquisition, it is less a question of taking an interest in the pop cultural phenomenon of ‘collectibles’ (these collections of images sold as NFTs, such as the Bored Apes or the CryptoPunks), than of exploring the boldest uses of this technology.”

Pop culture phenomenon or not, it seems the modern art museum is living up to its name and embracing the digital age. It's time to show all those Web3 haters the true power of NFTs!

Take a Look at the Sold-Out Rug Radio PFP Reveal!

The day has come, and the reveal is upon us!

Rug Radio, the decentralized media platform, launched their Faces of Web3 NFT collection featuring PFPs representing members of the Web3 community, and it sold out in less than 24 hours!

The collection was released in two phases, with the first offering a discount to early Genesis Rug NFT holders and DAO token holders, creators, and team members.

The second phase, opened to web3 communities supporting Rug Radio and the collection sold out completely! Faces of Web3, with art by visual artist Corey Van Lew, is available to view and purchase on OpenSea - and trust us, it's worth having a look at these colorful beauties.

The PFPs are wildly colored and offer special traits like 'Rug Mic' and the dynamic 1/1 trait 'Aura-Blew.' Despite some hiccups during the sale, the team went above and beyond to support and resolve every issue that arose.

If you missed out, tough luck, but at least you can still pick one up on secondary marketplaces.
