Logan Paul Hits Back at Coffeezilla

Recently, YouTube journalist Stephen 'Coffeezilla' Findeisen called out Logan Paul's CryptoZoo as a scam. Now, days later, Logan Paul has responded with a seven-minute video released on his YouTube channel.

How did Logan Paul respond to the allegations? Pretty much exactly as you would expect him to.

Grab your popcorn, this has more drama than a tele-novella.

After Coffeezilla first shared his accusations, Logan Paul responded with a tweet. “While I generally appreciate Stephen’s creative genius & exceptional work ethic (I mean that), this one is simply not true...When appropriate, all bad actors will be exposed, explained, & held fully accountable.”

The YouTuber and Boxer went on to say that he would explain more in his podcast IMPAULSIVE on Jan 3rd. So, we set our reminders and waited for what he had to say.

And, well, it's just what we expected. Logan denied all the allegations against him, stating that he “unknowingly” hired con men and criminals for developing CryptoZoo, but that as soon as he found out about their background, he let them go, he claimed.

TL;DR:

Logan Paul - "Not my fault, everyone else is to blame".

Or, as one Twitter user put it:

Logan Paul: Hired literal criminals
Also Logan Paul: It's not my fault for hiring criminals

Logan Paul THEN went on to shade Coffeezilla, saying “You have used my name for views and money,”, and that the journalist“twists facts”,

Logan also said that the research was false, and that “you can definitely hatch eggs and even breed your animals.” Interestingly, although you can apparently breed animals, Logan states that the game is still under development and aiming to launch in 2023/2024. Imagine minting an NFT for a game in 2021 that launches a whole three years later.

Finally, it looks like Logan Paul will be filing a lawsuit against Coffeezilla. "I suggest you use the money you got from pumping your Patreon to hire a good lawyer. You’re going to need it.”

Twitter was on fire with the reactions to this, drawing attention to the fact that Logan took no blame, made no apologies, and pointed the finger at literally everyone else.

Someone call Judge Judy.

Magic Eden Blames Image Provider For Shocking “Unsavory Images”

From bad actors, to bad NFTs. Magic Eden, Solana’s biggest non-fungible token marketplace, used improper images for some NFTs.

What were these improper images? Well, some were stills from the TV show The Big Bang Theory, others were, um, pornographic content.

And just like Logan, Magic Eden is passing the blame elsewhere.

On January 3, the marketplace was displaying incorrect images instead of NFT artwork. Not just across one Solana collection, but many. Users fled to Twitter to ask wtf was going on, and Magic Eden quickly responded through this post:

"Hey guys our image provider, a 3rd party service we use to cache images, was compromised. Our NFTs are safe and Magic Eden has not been hacked. Unfortunately you might've seen some um, unsavory images. Make sure you do a hard refresh on your browser to fix it."

Magic Eden says 'this isn't our fault, it's a third party!' Unfortunately for them, this was not their only issue today.

Whoops.

There was also an exploit discovered on Magic Eden, allowing unverified NFTs to be listed and sold as verified NFTs. Again, the marketplace took to Twitter, stating that they have now added more verification layers per collection to resolve the issue.

However, the exploit still remained active for another three hours.

Not a great way to start 2023!
