"Turn mee on" say Meebits
Yuga Labs has released a new experiential hub for its Meebits NFT collection. On their website, the cute designs let you interact with a female avatar in two different environments, space and night club, by herself or with friends.
If you happen to own a Meebits NFT, you'll be able to connect your wallet and make your avatar move to the AI music digital boombox. This new activation website also provides holders with one free 1:1 physical print of their Meebits. You have to pay for shipping, though. See it as gas fees.
Meebits sees the new platform as a launchpad for each new experience, activation, or opportunity. This 1:1 digital print called MB1 is the first chapter. There will be eight other activations.
The time has come to give Meebits a life! says Yuga Labs.Until now, the 3D avatars were like unused toys sitting in their boxes collecting dust. Hey, I have one of those!
Never mind. Not sure I want a poster.
DeGods' y00ts collection finally reveals
One of the most highly-anticipated collections of the NFT space has landed today as DeGods finally revealed their y00ts artwork. The project first hit the community in September 2022 when minting began.
Since then, people have been waiting impatiently, worrying the project would turn out like a rug pull.
DeGods team has explained today that they wanted more from the art. "We understood that delaying the collection would generate FUD, but this was not the standard we wanted to hold ourselves to internally.
Between dealing with 1-2 months of FUD vs. allowing this to exist forever on the blockchain, we chose the former. We think it was the right decision," writes Delilah, artist for Degods, in a document she shared publicly on how they made y00ts.
Most of the community likes it indeed.
DeGods also chose to show one y00t every 3 minutes until the reveal began, building up excitement.
One of their choices was less popular: the reinstatement of royalty fees, having said they were going 0% on royalty fees two weeks ago.
Frank's had it, though. He's away for the weekend.
