All About the Coinbase CEO’s ‘Stand Strong With Crypto’ NFT Campaign

Coinbase has launched an NFT campaign called 'Stand Strong With Crypto' to challenge the Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) crypto regulatory policies. The campaign comes on the heels of a lawsuit filed by Coinbase against the SEC, demanding more rights and freedom for the crypto industry.

With over 12,000 campaign NFTs already minted, the web3 community is closely watching SEC's actions. The legal battle began after Coinbase's petition to regulate the crypto industry via the SEC's current methods went unanswered.

However, this brave move may come at a cost for Coinbase and crypto platforms, hence the birth of the 'Stand With Crypto' campaign, which aims to empower the crypto community.

Coinbase partnered with ZORA to offer the NFT proceeds to vetted organizations. SEC has been more involved in crypto than ever before, expanding custody rules in February to include cryptocurrencies, which raises questions among investors.
