Get Ready for the 'Dookey Dash'

BAYC have released more details about 'The Trial of Jimmy the Monkey' - and somehow, it has gotten even weirder. As promised, this is a game, and the game is named Dookey Dash. (Really, I wish I was joking, but it really is called that).

In an increasingly odd adventure, Jimmy the Monkey has found himself in a bit of a pickle with a key stuck firmly in his backside. The Bored Apes have decided to turn this monkey mishap into a minting opportunity and have launched the "Dookey Dash" experience.

Starting January 17th, BAYC and MAYC members can mint special "Sewer Passes" that will allow them to enter the BAYC sewers and play a puzzle-based game to retrieve the key. If you are not a BAYC holder, you can pick yours up on secondary to get involved.

To win the game, players must control their ape avatar on a bike and collect as many "fragments" as possible, all the while avoiding obstacles. The more fragments that players pick up, the higher their scores, and in turn, higher their rewards.

The leaderboard will freeze on February 8th, and scores will be validated on February 15th, and the highest scorer wins the key to the mystery box.

But beware, the sewers are a treacherous place, filled with obstacles, and guarded by the infamous Gary the Dog Prophet.

But what's inside the box you ask? According to Gary, it's a "power source" from another dimension that can be summoned into the BAYC universe.

So, grab your Sewer Pass, and get ready to traverse the depths of the BAYC sewers in search of the ultimate prize - Jimmy's key. And who knows, you might even get a good laugh out of it.

In a move that had fans of Hollywood icons Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Mark Wahlberg doing their best "people's elbow" and "marky mark" dance moves, Gala Games announced a partnership with the two stars on Monday.

The native token of the platform, GALA, reportedly doubled in value as a result (although the team denies that the surge was related to the collaboration.)

However, things took a turn when the platform deleted its announcement on Twitter, leaving fans wondering if the collaboration was actually happening or not.

But fear not, fans! A representative from Gala Games has confirmed that the partnership is indeed happening, and that the announcement post was meant to be a closed post for the Discord community and was not supposed to be shared in a public place.

The spokesperson went on to say that the tweet was taken down out of respect to all involved partners and that more information about the project will be shared in the near future.

Accidentally sending a message to the wrong recipient - we all know that pain.

So, it looks like we can expect to see collectibles featuring The Rock and Mark Wahlberg on the blockchain, all powered by the GALA token. It's not the first time Hollywood has dipped its toes into the world of blockchain, and it certainly won't be the last.

So, hold on to your GALA tokens, and keep your eyes peeled for more information about this exciting partnership!
