Everyone’s Favorite Crypto Detective is Being Sued by MachiBigBrother

Another day, another lawsuit. This time, its everyone’s fave penguin - ZachXBT - vs MachiBigBrother. Crypto detective ZachXBT finds himself in hot water as he faces a defamation lawsuit from the infamous Machi Big Brother, also known as Jeffrey Huang. What started as an exposé on Machi's alleged embezzlement and failed crypto projects has now become a battle for truth and free speech.

So, what caused the beef? Well, ZachXBT's medium article, titled "22,000 ETH Embezzled and Over Ten Projects Failed: The Story of Machi Big Brother (Jeff Huang)," spilled the beans on Machi's checkered past. It painted a picture of 22,000 ETH vanishing from Formosa Financial, accompanied by a series of ill-fated pump-and-dump tokens and NFT projects. With evidence in hand, ZachXBT believed he was doing a public service.

How I imagine Zach feels after gathering all the evidence:

But Machi wasn't pleased. He has now filed a defamation lawsuit, alleging false accusations and damage to his pristine reputation. ZachXBT, however, believes that this is a sneaky ploy to muzzle his free speech. He insisted that his article was based on facts and evidence, leaving no room for defamation claims. In a bid to rally support, ZachXBT turned to the community, seeking assistance in his fight for truth and justice.

And guess what - the community stands by Zach! He set up a donation campaign to cover his mounting legal expenses. With anticipated costs soaring past $1 million, he hoped the crypto community would have his back. Zeneca, kmoney, and other notable figures in the crypto realm stepped up to support the embattled sleuth, offering their financial aid and rallying cries. In fact, the fund now sits at well over a million dollars.

Meanwhile, Machi Big Brother attempted to distance himself from the embezzler label. While he acknowledged receiving the funds, he vehemently denied being the initiator of the transfer. By playing the "it wasn't me" card, Machi aims to evade the damning accusations of embezzlement.

Goblins Take Over Twitch

Imagine this. You’re sitting at your desk, watching your fave Twitch streamer play the hottest new game (Only Up), when you spot something weirdly familiar. A goblin.

In a game where you climb platforms like Jack and the Beanstalk on a wild adventure, you can find Shiba Inu dogs, avocados, oranges and….goblins.

Hold up! Before you get too excited, there aren't any actual Goblintown characters in the game. Instead, they've cleverly hidden Easter eggs throughout Only Up. The game's protagonist rocks a jacket with a goblin on the back, and colorful murals featuring Goblintown characters adorn the game's walls. Free marketing galore for Goblintown!

This quirky game became a streaming sensation, with 109,000 Twitch streams in just one day. Streaming giants Agentoo and Mizkif joined the frenzy, each attracting 20,000 viewers. Only Up is going viral, and NFT holders are crossing their fingers, hoping that the exposure brings some much-needed attention and moolah to Web3.

Live footage from inside the Goblintown community:

So, who's behind Only Up? SCKR Games takes the credit for this madness. But here's the twist: nobody knows if there's an official connection between SCKR and Goblintown's parent company, Truth Labs. Media sources have reached out for answers, but their inboxes remain empty. Perhaps SCKR simply used Goblintown's artwork under a CCO license, because who needs permission or payment, right?

The official Goblintown Twitter account couldn't contain their goblin glee and thanked SCKR Games in their own delightful Goblin language: "Tenk u SCKR Games for putin goblins in ur game Only Up."
