Hot Wheels are back!

Ready for a bit of 90s nostalgia? Well here it is: Hot Wheels are back with another NFT drop. And this time itโ€™s on the Flow blockchain. But believe it or not, thatโ€™s not all. In fact, Mattel will also open its own NFT marketplace on the fiat-friendly blockchain.

Yes, you can buy these collectibles with your bank card too. Not bad, seeing as we donโ€™t have any crypto left.

You might be thinking, Iโ€™ve had enough 90s nostalgia for a while. Well sorry to disappoint but itโ€™s probably time to dust off your low-rise jeans and embrace it. Not because Britney is making a comeback, but because leading global toy company Mattel also own the IP for Barbie, Fisher-Price and even UNO.

Personally, I just hope they bring this banger back.

The new hot wheels drop on the brand new marketplace includes 60 popular cars such as McLaren, Chevrolet, Honda, and Aston Martin. Then, each pack includes seven Hot Wheels NFTs of varying rarities for $25. Then, those lucky enough to mint a rare will also have the option to redeem physical die-cast replicas.

Well, itโ€™s probably the closest Iโ€™m getting to a McLaren, so Iโ€™ll take my chances.

California Dreamin'

But wait - there's more! Sorry folks, the 90s nostalgia doesn't end there. Now you can have Hot Wheels in your wallet and Tony Hawk as your virtual neighbor. Grab your skateboard, chuck on a flannel shirt, and get ready for a blast from the past.

The Sandbox has announced a new, three-part LAND sale in collaboration with heavy hitters like Tony Hawk, Snoop Dogg, and Playboy! Starting tomorrow (November 24), players will be able to buy new LAND on Sandbox. With a blind-ballot system to allocate the parcels of LAND, you could find yourself "California Dreamin", surrounded by neighbors such as Snoop Dogg, Paris Hilton, and Nipsey Hussle's "The Marathon Clothing."

NFT McLarens. Virtual real estate among IRL celebs. I may be poor in the real world, but I have a chance to be rich in the metaverse!
