ApeFest 2023 Detaches Itself From NFT NYC

It looks like Bored Ape Yacht Club's annual ApeFest festival is on the move! After two successful events in conjunction with NFT NYC, the annual festival for Bored Ape and Mutant Ape holders 'ApeFest' has become one of the most anticipated NFT events every year. (Seriously, you should see the queues!)

Now times are changing - in the past two years, ApeFest has coincided with NFT NYC. Now, they're cutting the cord and branching out alone.

I wonder how NFT NYC feels about this breakup.

Why is ApeFest not at NFT NYC this year? Because NFT NYC is now going to be held in APRIL! You heard that right - the world's largest NFT conference is only 4 months away.

So, if you are an Ape or Mutant Ape worried about booking travel, you can breathe a sigh of relief. While no official details have been released yet, BAYC has assured fans that ApeFest 2023 will not be taking place in April.

With ApeFest not coinciding with NFT NYC, how will this impact the conference itself and other community events? I guess we will find out in a few months!

Ledger and World of Women are Hosting a Giveaway!

Ledger has teamed up with the World of Women NFT project for a quest that will give away 1,200 of its Ledger Nano S Plus wallets! These limited-edition, WoW-themed hard wallets were designed by Yam Karkai, the co-founder and artist of WoW.

THE QUEST IS ON - but how do we play? First, to be eligible to participate in the Ledger quest, you'll need to be a WoW token holder and prove ownership by connecting your wallet to the quest website. (Might be time to go NFT shopping, no?)

Once you're in, you'll be able to secure your WoW NFTs while learning about NFT security in the process. And as a reward for your hard work, you'll receive a Proof of Knowledge (PoK) NFT, which serves as a social badge and can unlock additional benefits.
