OpenSea In Deep Waters…Again!
OpenSea claim “they didn’t know any of this” in the midst of it’s executive’s ponzi drama. OpenSea NFT marketplace faces controversy as former executive Kevin Pawlak, alias 0xSisyphus, is accused of "dubious" practices, pump and dump schemes, and influencing decisions at OpenSea without disclosing his employment.
NFT Ethics reveals Pawlak's alleged involvement in a $60 million rug pull with AnubisDAO, pointing out on-chain activities linking his crypto domains.
OpenSea claims Pawlak left in June 2023, unaware of his scam connections, citing his "limited scope."
This follows a previous incident involving insider trading by a former OpenSea product manager.
The NFT giant grapples with executive controversies, raising questions about transparency and accountability.
SBF Trial - The Saga Continues…
Sam Bankman-Fried's trial, featuring former Alameda CEO Caroline Ellison's testimony, continues amid challenges like the denial of a Ukrainian FTX customer's remote testimony request.
The trial, focused on fraud charges against Bankman-Fried, commenced in New York, with the judge suggesting a potentially quicker duration.
Jurors received strict instructions, considering some have ties to crypto entities. Notably, no plea offer was made.
Witnesses include FTX's former CTO Gary Wang and others, while a former FTX executive, Ryan Salame, who pleaded guilty, seems hesitant to testify against Bankman-Fried in the trial.
