ArtBlocks Announce Next Curated Release: Cargo by Kim Asendorf

Get ready for some fun! ArtBlocks is bringing some much-needed excitement to the world of abstract art with their latest release, Cargo.

The series of mesmerizing abstract paintings created by German visual artist Kim Asendorf is generating a lot of buzz, and for good reason. The unique artwork is generated using animated pixels that move continuously without repetition, creating an ever-changing visual experience that will have you hooked.

What is cargo, I hear you ask? Cargo is a continuation of Asendorf's ongoing work with pixel pattern animations. His previous works were highly conceptual, with raw and unimaginable visuals that led him to discover interesting details that would become essential to his artistic expression. But with Cargo, Asendorf has combined elements of macro and micro compositions to engage the viewer in an active experience that draws them between intricate details and the overall picture.

Asendorf uses pixels as building blocks in his abstractions, resulting in an ever-changing display that never grows old or predictable.

And for the nerds among us, the technology behind it is just as impressive as the art itself. The software utilizes real-time WebGL software written in JavaScript and GLSL, allowing for responsive and pixel-exact adaptability to any display size.

But what really sets Cargo apart is the interplay between simplicity and complexity. Asendorf's work is conceptually designed through algorithms that leave room for interpretation. Accessible and engaging, Cargo is a captivating exploration of pixels and their potential to create mesmerizing, ever-changing worlds.

So, if you're looking for a visual experience that will leave you in awe, head over to ArtBlocks and check out Cargo.

Otherside Second Trip: What Went Down?

Over 7,200 brave souls entered the Otherside this weekend, and we're not talking about the afterlife. Yuga Labs' metaverse "Otherside" saw its second trip, where four teams led by Jimmy Wong, Brycent, Lowbellie, and Champ Medici competed in a blob-collecting contest. The blobs were fed to giant toads, because why not?

Jimmy Wong's team won the contest, earning themselves a "Winged helmet" airdropped to their wallets. If a player holds an Otherdeed from the winning team, the helmet goes to their wallet address; otherwise, it goes to the wallet that participated in the event.

The Voyagers were then taken on a tour of the Bone environment Otherdeed by Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) mascots, Curtis and Blue. Unfortunately, a BoneLand Dragon attacked and cut the tour short. That's the trouble with dragons - they never RSVP.

Despite the abrupt end, the event was a success, and Voyagers left excited about the potential of the Otherside metaverse. And with the message from Yuga Labs reminding everyone that "Finders, keepers," we know the adventure is just beginning.

This event is a prime example of how metaverse technology can bring people together in a virtual space. And with continued development, who knows what exciting possibilities will emerge? Perhaps giant toad racing, or a quest to slay dragons. The sky's the limit, or rather, the Otherside is the limit.

'Without us realizing it, a nois is played in the world, which is transmitted from the birth of our parents and even before that from our ancestors, from generation to generation, ear to ear, eye to eye.
This nois that seems to want us to live, but in reality, they educate us and place us in the society to reach their own destiny.'
