Hold your horses! Rumors about MetaMask charging taxes are totally bogus.

ConsenSys, the cool parent company of MetaMask, set the record straight. The whole mess started when people misinterpreted MetaMask's terms of service. But fear not! ConsenSys took to Twitter on May 22 to bust the myth.

They clarified that MetaMask doesn't collect taxes from crypto users. The tax section in their terms of service only refers to their paid plans and products, not your crypto transactions.

So rest easy, MetaMask is all about smooth and secure crypto experiences, not digging into your hard-earned money.

PSYOP Is In Trouble

A partner at Loevy and Loevy firm sent an NFT legal letter threatening to sue the founder of PSYOP, Ben.eth. The letter accused Ben.eth of potential wire fraud during a $7 million token presale and highlighted his involvement in another controversy.

Now if that isnt peak web3, I dont know what is!

Mike Kanovitz, the lawyer, revealed the settlement demand on Twitter, alleging manipulative strategies in the presale and unfair token distribution.

Ben.eth responded stating that 50% of tokens had been sent out and promising the rest soon. Kanovitz demanded refunds to avoid legal action, warning of treble damages amounting to $21 million.

He emphasized the consequences, including personal legal action and revealing co-conspirators' identities. Ben.eth criticized the unprofessionalism of the letter, hinting at potential trouble with the bar association.
