Reddit ends the bear market

FOMO alert! Don't we all miss the days with +200%, +500%, +2000%, and more? Say no more. Reddit's on it!

You read that right! +4,499% for the Senses x Reddit Collectible Avatars collection. So how did we get here? First, Reddit launched 4 unique NTF avatars in July 2021. Some Redditors were outraged by this, others laughed out loud. The vast majority didn't care, nor did NFT Twitter.

There was a plan, though. Last August, Reddit airdropped "collectible avatars" to their most active users for free, ditching the NFT acronym to avoid more backlash and making transactions frictionless. Users began adopting the new “collectibles” and using them on their profiles. Finally, Reddit launched low-priced paid collectible avatars (from $10 to $100), which sold out immediately.

Now the reward. For onboarding 3M new users to the NFT space, Reddit gets 5 NFT collections in OpenSea top 15 trending collections. For being humble and listening to their community feedback, they're topping the charts and raking up royalty fees of 5%. By relying on their most engaged fans rather than freaking out at the noise on other platforms, they gain popularity among trend makers.

Yale called. They want the case study.

Bored Apes are conquering the world

Wanna unbore a Bored Ape? Place an order for a Venti Caramel Crunch Frappuccino with extra pumps of dark caramel sauce, bananas, whipped cream, extra ice, honey blend, and caramel drizzle, the official longest Starbucks order.

The first Bored Cafe will open in Berne, Switzerland, on November 12, and promises to spread positivity through coffee! And if you find Starbucks' names too long, or too boring, join the brainstorming and help the new venue to name their drinks.

A BAYC owner, CryptoJanswiss is the entrepreneur behind this project. The coffee shop owner encourages other BAYC and MAYC owners to interact to see their own Apes displayed there and spread knowledge about the NFTs and crypto space.

Another BAYC tribute, Bored and Hungry, recently announced its upcoming South Korean opening.

Apes are on their way to conquering the world.
