📈📉Big Brands in Digital Fashion

Digital Fashion: In this space we typically cover traditional fashion brands embracing Web3. However, this week, we have decided to showcase digital native fashion brands. So, if you’re excited about digital fashion, check out what these brands are doing.

🌚Full Moons -

Amsterdam: The Digital Fashion Center Of The World!

In the heart of Amsterdam, at Felix Meritis, an 18th-century cultural house beside Keizersgracht canal, over 1,000 attendees witnessed an unconventional fashion show during Amsterdam Fashion Week.

Instead of human models, avatars took the stage, brought to life by six projectors on each side, creating lifelike, six-and-a-half-foot-tall figures.

  • These digital models showcased designs from nine digital fashion houses, including DressX, The Fabricant, and Code Couture.

  • Some avatars danced through surreal scenes, while others swam amid glowing orbs and lightning, leaving many attendees moved to tears, despite the absence of physical reality.

Future Front Row, a company founded by Antonio Talarico and Isabelle Udo, orchestrated this groundbreaking immersive virtual fashion show, pushing the boundaries of digital fashion's potential!

Genies Launch Social Network

Genies, the metaverse avatar tech firm valued at $1 billion in April 2022, has unveiled its latest ventures. They're launching a social network with crowdsourced mini-games, backed by a $500,000 digital fashion fund, offering co-creation opportunities with celebrities.

  • The Workshop, a platform with 3D design tools, will enable digital artists to craft Genies-compatible clothing and objects, complete with a library of curated fashion items.

  • These creations will enter the Genies ecosystem through the Silver Studio fashion thrifting game, featuring fashion prompts for users.

  • Celebrities like Khalid, Banks, and TikTok star Clara Perlmutter are joining in, sparking fan interaction opportunities.

Genies aims to create interoperable mini-games, offering monetization for creators through in-game purchases while rewarding them based on traction. The goal is to release numerous crowdsourced games monthly.

🔭The Scope

For fashion enthusiasts and creators alike - web3 is pouncing on every opportunity to connect digital fashion to new audience experiences. Genies social network will create opportunities for fashion designers to collaborate, learn, and take their skills to the next level. Moreover, Digital Fashion is taking strides to merge into physical experiences. It won’t be long before we see the inverse also happen. Where physical fashion reflects digital trends and merges seamlessly with AR/VR tech and the internet!

🌓Half Moons

- The Fabricant is teaming up with NVIDIA's Inception program to revolutionize fashion design using AI and real-time rendering, paving the way for a seamless blend of physical brands into the digital world.

- Nobody's Child, a stellar women's fashion brand, is introducing QR codes as digital product passports to enhance sustainability and provide consumers with essential information, including washing instructions, repair details, and carbon footprint data, while also offering incentives like exclusive NFTs through a Decentralized Payment Protocol (DPP).

🔭The Scope

Is the age of custom clothing nearby? Where people can walk into a store, select a design they like, mix and match their preferences (maybe even design new ones in-store), and then watch as their magnificent creations come to life IRL! Moreover, we will also witness the rise of a more sustainable fashion industry with moves such as Nobody’s Child has made.

⚪Total Eclipse
