Veecon 2023 Has Announced its Star-Studded Lineup!
Gary Vee is pulling out all the stops for VeeCon 2023! With rap legend Busta Rhymes headlining the opening night, attendees better brush up on their rhyming skills and get ready to bust a move!
But this isn't just a party, folks. VeeCon is also offering programming about serious topics like business, innovation, and competition. With the incredible line-up of speakers, this is set to be a conference like no other.
And let's not forget about the real VIPs here: the VeeFriends Series 1 token holders who get their tickets via an airdrop in their wallets.
For those who didn't invest in VeeFriends Series 1, fear not! You can still attend the conference by buying a ticket on secondary markets like OpenSea.
And let's talk about that lineup. Speakers include Deadfellaz CEO Betty, Overpriced JPEGs Host Carly Reilly, Daymond John of Shark Tank, Deepak Chopra, Snowfro, and many, many more.
I'm feeling starstruck just looking at that list.
All in all, VeeCon 2023 sounds like a wild ride. With entertainment, education, and networking opportunities galore, attendees will need to pace themselves if they want to make it through all three days.
So, grab your VeeFriends token, pack your bags, and get ready for a conference experience like no other.
Did Friendsies NFT Founders Pull the Rug? Creators Speak Out
The Friendsies NFT collection has lost a lot of friends today, with holders accusing the founders of pulling the rug on the project.
But don't worry, the founders deny these claims and insist they are not abandoning the project. They just need to take a pause due to market challenges, which is totally understandable, right?
Except for the fact that they promised holders a Tamagotchi-style play-to-earn game and a portion of creator royalties from sales on the secondary market, which they have yet to fulfill.
Oh, and their Twitter account got deleted, which sparked rumors that they had run away with $5 million.
However, the founders have since reinstated their Twitter account and admitted they could have handled the announcement better.
Some members of the community are proposing a plan to take over and continue running the project, with Satvik Sethi, the former NFT product lead for Mastercard (yes, the one with the NFT resignation letter) leading the charge.
Who knows what's next for Friendsies NFT, but hopefully, it won't involve any more "pauses" or "rugs" being pulled, but a lot of tamagotchis instead.
